As a Deck Carpenter, you will be responsible for constructing and installing composite and PVC decks according to client specifications. Your expertise in carpentry, knowledge of different decking materials, and commitment to delivering high-quality work will be vital in ensuring customer satisfaction. Collaborate with project managers to understand deck design requirements and specifications.
Measure, cut, and shape wood and composite materials to construct decks based on provided blueprints or design plans.
Install support structures, such as beams, joists, and posts, to ensure stability and durability of the deck.
Fasten decking materials securely to the frame using appropriate tools and techniques.
Ensure compliance with building codes, safety standards, and project timelines.
