Job description

We are seeking motivated individuals interested in a rewarding career in the tile industry.
Successful candidates will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work well in a team environment. Both positions play a vital role in delivering high-quality tile installations across a variety of settings.

Tile Setter Responsibilities:
Install various types oftile including ceramic, porcelain, and stone with precision and efficiency
Interpret layouts and follow design plans with accuracy
Mix, apply, and spread mortar, thin set, or mastic on floors, walls, and ceilings
Cut and shape tiles to fit around obstacles using hand tools and power tools
Work on a variety of surfaces, including walls, floors, and ceilings
Ensure that installations are level, aligned, and clean
Collaborate closely with tile finishers to maximize productivity

Tile Finisher Responsibilities:


Assist tile setters with layout, preparation, and installation tasks
Understand and apply surface preparation techniques including membranes and underlayment's
Mix and apply grout and caulking with attention to detail
Stock and handle materials for the tile setter to ensure smooth workflow
Perform site cleanup, tile sealing, and final detailing of finished surfaces
Communicate clearly with tile setters and job site supervisors

Requirements for Both Roles:

Ability to lift and carry 50+ pounds regularly
Prolonged periods of standing, kneeling, squatting, bending, and working on scaffolds
Strong math and measuring skills for accurate layout and cuts
Keen eye for detail, symmetry, and quality craftsmanship
Understanding of artistic balance and color coordination
Ability to follow safety protocols and use personal protective equipment (PPE)
Basic knowledge of industry materials and tools
Reliable transportation and punctuality
