Job description

  • Who We Are

Pool Centurion is a leading provider of pool service, repairs, and renovations across South Florida. At Reef Tropical Pools, we offer an exciting opportunity to work in the sunshine while earning competitive pay and growth opportunities within an established and expanding pool service, renovation, and construction organization.

    Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Renovation / Construction Manager to lead the sales, coordination, and execution of major pool renovation and new construction projects.

This role is responsible for meeting with customers, evaluating renovation and construction opportunities, preparing scopes of work, supporting estimates, closing projects, and managing the project from start to finish once approved.

The ideal candidate has strong experience with major pool renovations, pool resurfacing, tile, coping, decking, equipment upgrades, structural work, and new pool construction projects. This person must be comfortable in the field, confident with customers, and capable of managing internal crews, subcontractors, schedules, quality control, and customer communication.

    Key Responsibilities

Manage pool renovation and new construction projects from initial customer consultation through final completion.

Meet with customers to review renovation needs, construction opportunities, project goals, budgets, timelines, and expectations.

Perform site evaluations, field measurements, scope reviews, and project feasibility assessments.

Support the preparation of estimates, proposals, scopes of work, and change orders.

Sell renovation and construction projects by clearly explaining options, project value, timelines, and next steps to customers.

Follow up on open estimates and opportunities to help drive revenue growth.

Manage internal renovation/construction crews, including daily direction, job assignments, productivity, quality, and accountability.

Coordinate and oversee subcontractors to ensure work is completed on schedule, within scope, and to company standards.

Oversee project schedules, jobsite progress, vendors, materials, equipment, inspections, and project coordination.

Conduct regular site visits to inspect work quality, confirm scope, identify issues, and keep projects moving.

Communicate regularly with customers regarding project status, timelines, delays, selections, approvals, and next steps.

Coordinate with operations, permitting, service, office teams, vendors, crews, and subcontractors to ensure a smooth project workflow.

Ensure all work is completed to company standards, local code requirements, safety standards, and customer expectations.

Manage jobsite cleanliness, schedule compliance, safety expectations, and overall field accountability.

Identify project risks early and communicate solutions before they become larger problems.

Track project progress, open items, punch lists, completion requirements, and customer satisfaction.

Help improve renovation sales processes, project documentation, customer communication, and overall department efficiency.

    Required Experience

Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in pool renovation, pool construction, construction management, or related construction sales/project management.

Experience with major pool renovations and new pool construction is strongly preferred.

Proven ability to communicate with customers, build trust, present options, and close renovation or construction projects.

Experience managing field crews, subcontractors, vendors, schedules, and customer expectations.

Strong understanding of pool construction and renovation phases, including tile, coping, resurfacing, decking, plumbing, equipment installation, structural work, and startup.

Ability to read and understand scopes of work, plans, measurements, proposals, and project details.

Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make field decisions.

Excellent communication, follow-up, leadership, and customer service skills.

Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple sales opportunities and active projects at once.

Valid driver’s license and clean driving record preferred.

    Preferred Qualifications

Experience in pool remodeling, resurfacing, structural repairs, tile/coping replacement, paver/travertine decks, automation upgrades, equipment pad renovations, and outdoor living improvements.

Knowledge of Florida pool construction requirements, permitting, inspections, and building department processes.

Experience using project management software, CRM systems, estimating tools, or service/construction scheduling platforms.

Ability to support revenue growth through estimate follow-up, customer education, and professional project presentation.

    What We Are Looking For

We are looking for a leader who can own both the customer relationship and the project outcome.

This role requires someone who can sell renovation opportunities, manage the details, lead crews, hold subcontractors accountable, communicate clearly with customers, and protect the company’s reputation through quality work and professional project execution.

The right candidate will be comfortable selling in the field, walking jobsites, solving problems, managing multiple projects, and ensuring customers feel informed and confident throughout the process.

    Compensation amp; Benefits

Base salary starting at $70,000 annually, based on experience.
