Job description

Provide senior-level administration, governance execution, and technical enablement across Microsoft 365, with a primary focus on Power Platform, Copilot, and secure application integrations. This role ensures that low-code solutions, AI capabilities, and third-party integrations are implemented in a secure, supportable, and scalable manner while enabling business innovation and process improvement.

Operate within established architectural standards and governance guardrails and serves as a technical lead for Power Platform administration and Copilot enablement activities. Balance platform governance with hands-on support for solution owners.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide senior-level administration and governance execution across Microsoft 365, with primary responsibility for Power Platform, Copilot, and application integrations
  • Administer Microsoft Entra ID application integrations, including app registrations, enterprise applications, API permissions, consent policies, and service principals
  • Govern application and integration lifecycle management to ensure secure, supportable, and compliant access to Microsoft 365 services
  • Review, onboard, and maintain third-party and internal application integrations in alignment with established architectural standards and security requirements
  • Partner with application owners and business solution teams to design and implement secure authentication and authorization patterns
  • Administer Microsoft Power Platform, including environment strategy (development, testing, production), capacity monitoring, usage analysis, and solution lifecycle management
  • Enforce Power Platform governance controls to prevent unmanaged low-code sprawl while enabling approved business solutions
  • Support promotion of Power Platform solutions from development through production and provide operational support for production solutions
  • Serve as the technical enablement lead for Microsoft Copilot within Microsoft 365
  • Assist business teams and solution owners with Copilot agent design, AI-assisted workflows, and business-specific Copilot use cases
  • Translate business requirements into secure, reusable Copilot and Power Platform solutions aligned with governance and compliance standards
  • Promote responsible, secure, and scalable AI usage patterns across the organization
  • Serve as an escalation point for complex Microsoft 365 issues related to automation, integrations, and AI-enabled solutions
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, standards, and operational runbooks related to Power Platform, Copilot, and application integrations
  • Provide guidance and enablement to junior administrators and business solution owners
  • Partner with identity, security, infrastructure, and compliance teams to ensure consistent service delivery and governance alignment
  • Identify opportunities for platform improvements, automation, and increased Microsoft 365 maturity
  • Accurately document work, configurations, and changes in ticketing and change management systems
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
    (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
  • Microsoft certification in Power Platform Developer Associate preferred not required
  • 5-8 years of experience administering Microsoft 365 or enterprise collaboration platforms

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Must be able to travel 5-15%
  • Demonstrated experience administering Microsoft Power Platform in a production environment
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Entra ID application and integration management
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft 365 services and platform interdependencies
  • Hands-on expertise with:
