Job description

Director, Ticket Sales
The Henderson Silver Knights and Vegas Knight Hawks are seeking a highly motivated, results-driven leader to oversee all ticket sales efforts. As Director of Ticket Sales, this role will be responsible for driving revenue growth through the sale of season ticket memberships, group tickets, and single-game inventory. This position will lead strategic sales initiatives and collaborate cross-functionally to deliver best-in-class fan experiences aligned with organizational revenue goals and brand standards.
This role requires a high-performing sales leader with strong relationship-building skills, consultative selling expertise, and a deep understanding of ticket sales and service operations. The Director, Ticket Sales will report to the VP, Chief Ticketing Officer.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Recruit, lead, and develop a high-performing team of sales coordinators and managers through clear expectations, hands-on coaching, and consistent accountability.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive ticket sales strategies to achieve revenue targets across season ticket memberships, group sales, and single-game tickets.
  • Oversee pricing, packaging, and go-to-market strategies for all ticketing products, ensuring alignment with brand standards, market trends, and consumer demand.
  • Evaluate and implement sales technologies, tools, and processes that improve operational efficiency and enhance the overall fan experience.
  • Drive new business development efforts for full-season and partial-season memberships, ensuring sustainable revenue growth and long-term client engagement.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal departments to ensure seamless execution of season ticket member benefits, experiences, and retention initiatives.
  • Maintain a strong command of the sales pipeline through CRM platforms; guide and coach sales staff through each stage of the sales cycle to successfully close business.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, accountability, and results throughout the ticketing department.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree required, with a minimum of 7 years of experience in ticket sales and/or membership services, including at least 2 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven leadership and team development skills, with the ability to motivate, coach, and elevate high-performing sales teams.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to cultivate a positive and collaborative work environment.
  • Exceptional organizational, decision-making, and time-management abilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a strong commitment to customer service and solution-oriented problem-solving.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and the ability to quickly learn new systems; experience with ticketing platforms (e.g., Ticketmaster, AXS) and CRM systems is strongly preferred.
