About This Job...
Line Cooks are essential to delivering an exceptional, upscale dining experience in a fine dining steakhouse environment. Working closely with the Executive Chef and Sous Chef, Line Cooks execute precise food preparation and refined presentation techniques that reflect the quality and reputation of both the restaurant and hotel.
This role requires individuals who thrive in a fast-paced kitchen, communicate clearly, and work collaboratively across multiple stations. Line Cooks must be adaptable, detail-oriented, and committed to consistency, ensuring every dish meets the highest culinary and visual standards.
The primary responsibility of a Line Cook is to prepare and present high-quality menu items with accuracy and efficiency while maintaining strict food safety standards and exceeding guest expectations.
What You'll Be Doing...
  • Prepare and execute menu items with consistency, precision, and attention to detail, following established recipes and presentation standards
  • Maintain fine dining plating standards, ensuring visually appealing, guest-ready dishes
  • Work efficiently in a high-volume, fast-paced environment while maintaining composure and quality
  • Communicate clearly and effectively with team members and leadership during service
  • Rotate between stations as needed and adapt quickly to changing kitchen demands
  • Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines, including proper labeling, dating, storage, and temperature control
  • Anticipate prep needs based on service flow and proactively prepare ingredients
  • Properly store and handle all food items to maintain freshness and reduce waste
  • Assist in monitoring food costs and minimizing waste through proper portioning and usage
  • Safely operate kitchen equipment including grills, broilers, fryers, ovens, slicers, mixers, and more
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation at all times
  • Support team members and contribute to a positive, professional kitchen culture
  • Uphold the standards and expectations of a fine dining steakhouse and hotel brand
  • Perform other duties as assigned by leadership

Requirements...
Experience & Education:

  • Must be able to speak, read, and write in the primary language used in the workplace

Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to stand and walk for 8+ hours per shift
  • Frequent reaching, bending, stooping, and pivoting
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds occasionally
