Job description

We are seeking a Chief Operating Officer (COO) to serve as the operational engine of the business and a key partner to the CEO.

This is a true C-suite leadership role responsible for building and scaling the company’s end-to-end operational infrastructure — including supply chain, manufacturing, fulfillment, and logistics — to support rapid growth.

The COO will play a critical role in transforming operations from a ~$60M business into a $120M+ organization, ensuring systems, processes, and teams are built to scale.

What You’ll OwnEnd-to-End Supply Chain & Manufacturing
  • Own and optimize the full supply chain from raw materials to customer delivery

  • Lead sourcing, contract manufacturing, production planning, and vendor management

  • Drive cost savings, margin expansion, and supply chain resilience

  • Build redundancy strategies and mitigate risk across global suppliers

Warehouse, Fulfillment & Logistics
  • Oversee warehouse operations, fulfillment strategy, and logistics performance

  • Optimize throughput, accuracy, and cost per order

  • Manage 3PL relationships and evaluate build vs. outsource decisions

  • Improve shipping strategy, freight costs, and reverse logistics

Operational Systems & Infrastructure
  • Design and implement scalable operational systems (ERP, WMS, demand planning)

  • Build KPI dashboards and operational reporting frameworks

  • Establish SOPs, processes, and operating cadences across the business

  • Drive continuous improvement and operational efficiency

Scaling Strategy & Cross-Functional Leadership
  • Partner with the CEO to translate growth targets into operational plans

  • Own the operational budget and drive financial discipline

  • Align closely with product, marketing, and finance teams

  • Build hiring plans and organizational structure to support scale

Team Leadership
  • Build, lead, and develop a high-performing operations organization

  • Establish a culture of accountability, speed, and data-driven decision making

  • Develop leaders across supply chain, warehouse, and logistics functions

What Success Looks Like
  • Reduce cost per order and improve operational efficiency

  • Achieve best-in-class fulfillment accuracy and on-time shipping

  • Scale operations to support 2x revenue growth without proportional cost increases

  • Improve inventory turnover and gross margins

  • Build a scalable, data-driven operational infrastructure

Who You AreExperience
  • 12–20+ years of progressive operations leadership experience

  • Proven track record scaling a DTC, eCommerce, or CPG business from ~$20M–$50M to $100M+

  • Experience in a COO, VP/SVP Operations, or equivalent executive role

  • Deep expertise in supply chain, manufacturing, and fulfillment operations

  • Experience leading teams across multiple operational functions

  • Strong track record of improving margins, reducing COGS, and driving efficiency

Capabilities
  • Operational architect who can build systems for scale, not just manage existing ones

  • Strong supply chain strategist with upstream manufacturing experience

  • Data-driven decision maker with deep KPI ownership

  • Hands-on operator who can move quickly in a fast-paced environment

  • Experienced leader in founder-led businesses
