Job description

Chief Operating Officer (COO)

Salary: $160,000–$185,000 + Bonus

Location: Chantilly, VA - 100% In Office

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead day-to-day operations across the organization.
  • Oversee Finance, HR, and IT functions.
  • Develop KPIs, dashboards, and executive reporting.

  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, and business performance initiatives.
  • Build scalable processes and organizational infrastructure.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of progressive operations leadership experience.
  • Experience leading operations within a commercial professional services organization.
  • Strong Finance and business operations experience, including budgeting, forecasting, KPIs, and performance management.
  • Experience overseeing HR and organizational development.
  • Demonstrated success building processes, improving operations, and scaling organizations.
  • Hands-on leadership style with a proactive, execution-oriented mindset.
  • Bachelor's degree (Business, Finance, Accounting, Management, Operations, or related field preferred)
