Requirements:

  • Create 3D models of facilities and environments based on CAD drawings, floor plans, and reference materials
  • Assist in converting and refining CAD or design files into usable 3D assets
  • Apply materials, textures, and basic lighting to produce clear and accurate visual representations
  • Optimize models and assets for real-time performance in Unity
  • Ensure models are built to accurate scale and reflect real-world layouts
  • Collaborate with Unity developers to integrate assets into simulation environments
  • Support development of reusable assets and environment components
  • Incorporate feedback and iterate on models as requirements evolve

  • Basic understanding of 3D modeling fundamentals, including scale, topology, and geometry
  • Familiarity with UV mapping and texturing
  • Ability to interpret floor plans, drawings, or reference images
  • Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Interest in building real-world environments (facilities, infrastructure, etc.)

Preferred Skills

  • Exposure to CAD, Revit, or BIM files (academic or project experience is acceptable)
  • Familiarity with Unity or other real-time engines
  • Experience optimizing assets for real-time performance (even at a basic level)
  • Portfolio demonstrating environment modeling (academic or personal projects acceptable)
  • Interest in simulation, digital twin, or visualization environments

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in 3D Modeling, Visualization, Game Art, Architecture, or a related field
  • 0–2 years of relevant experience (internships or academic projects acceptable)
  • Ability to learn quickly and take direction from senior team members

Preferred Qualifications
