Position Title: Sales

Job Type: Full-Time (Hourly plus Bonus Opportunities)

Reports To: Store Manager

Position Summary

The Sales Specialist is responsible for actively engaging with customers, identifying their needs, recommending the right products, and closing sales. This role focuses on direct sales, meaning the team members build rapport with customers, guide them through the buying process, and helps them choose the right tires and wheels based on their needs and budget.

The Sales Specialist serves as the frontline connection between the company and the customer and plays a key role in helping individuals and families stay safe on the road through RNR's affordable payment program.

Key Responsibilities

Direct Sales & Customer Engagement

  • Engage with customers in person and through inbound leads (phone, text, and online inquiries)
  • Identify customer needs and recommend the best tires and wheels based on safety, performance, and budget
  • Build rapport with customers and guide them through the purchasing process
  • Close sales and help customers move forward with the company's payment program
  • Follow up with customers to ensure a smooth and successful experience

Lead & Customer Management

  • Set appointments and follow up with new and existing leads
  • Business to Business and field Marketing, and events
  • Update customer records and track lead progress in the company system
  • Maintain accurate documentation of customer interactions
  • Support store sales goals through consistent follow-up and customer engagement

Showroom & Store Support

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and professional showroom environment
  • Ensure product displays are clean and presentable
  • Support inventory readiness and availability
  • Participate in store promotions, marketing efforts, and team initiatives

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of direct sales experience required (retail sales, automotive sales, furniture sales, electronics sales, or phone-based sales)
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Outgoing, friendly, and motivated personality
  • Goal-driven and coachable with a desire to grow
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced sales environment
  • Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus but not required
  • Tire and wheel experience is not required (training provided)

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time
  • Ability to bend, stoop, reach, and lift to 100 pounds
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment
  • Professional appearance and strong communication skills required
  • Flexible schedule required
