We are looking for a Safety Coordinator to join our Safety team on our project in Herndon, VA. This is a full-time, in-person position. The Safety Coordinator is responsible for executing the project safety program within assigned areas, supporting trade partners, and ensuring compliance with Holder standards and regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities
- Execute Holder's safety program for assigned trades or work areas
- Conduct daily safety inspections and document findings
- Lead safety planning and coordination for high-risk activities in partnership with operations
- Support incident, near miss, and first aid investigations using root cause analysis
- Review and support development of JHAs and high-risk activity plans
- Deliver safety orientations and training to subcontractors and field personnel
- Reinforce expectations and proactively address safety concerns in the field
Qualifications
- OSHA 30 required
- Working knowledge of construction means, methods, and sequencing
- Ability to communicate and reinforce expectations with field personnel
- Progress toward BCSP certification (ASP, CHST, or equivalent preferred)
