Inova Fair Oaks Hospital is looking for a dedicated Resource Coordinator to join the team. This role will be Full-time Day shifts, working 40 hours weekly with rotating weekends.

Resource Coordinator Job Responsibilities:

  • Adheres to all Inova and Supply Chain policies and procedures.

  • Maintains accurate records of medical supplies, equipment, and mset carts ensuring optimal stock levels are maintained.

  • Establishes, monitors and adjusts supply par levels according to utilization trends.

  • Executes daily ordering of supplies for assigned customer supply rooms.

  • Works with purchasing on back ordered items, monitors, reviews and removes recalled and nearly expired or expired customer supply room inventory.

  • Accurately picks medical supplies from warehouse, based on order pick tickets and accurately puts away inventory in clean supply rooms.

  • As needed, manages, maintains inventory, and processes orders for non-stock items.

  • Maintains cleanliness and organization of assigned clean supply rooms as well as the warehouse.

  • Is crossed trained as needed to support receiving, equipment management, warehouse ordering.

  • Takes ownership of all aspects of the product conversion (replace product, labels, PAR sheets, etc.) and proactively communicates with customers on product conversions.

  • Regularly checks-in and maintains communication with clinical staff for assigned units.

  • Maintains high level of customer service.

  • Utilizes, manages, and maintains materials management information system and point of use system for assigned areas.

Minimum Requirements: 

  • Education: High School diploma or equivalent
  • Experience: 3 years of Materials Management or related experience
