Job Summary
The Work Study Student will support the Testing Services as a Testing Assistant on the Savannah Campus beginning Fall 2026.
Student employees cannot work more than 1300 hours in a 12-consecutive month period.
Employment is contingent upon funding.

Responsibilities

• Answer phone calls and emails in a professional and timely manner
• Maintain testing office documentation, records, and resources
• Obtain required certifications for applicable exams and administer CLEP, ACCUPLACER, eCore, and general proctored examinations
• Set up and configure computers with vendor-specific testing software and applications
• Ensure testing equipment and software are properly prepared and operational for scheduled examinations

Shift Specifics

• Up to 16 hours per week
• Flexible with schedule of availability
• Minimum of 4 hours per shift

Required Qualifications
Educational Requirements

• Must be enrolled in six or more undergraduate credit hours at Georgia Southern University.

Other Required Qualifications

• Must be Federal Work eligible.

Proposed Salary
$12.00 per hour
This is a non-exempt position paid on a biweekly basis.
