About Achieve Test Prep
Achieve Test Prep's mission is to make higher education more accessible and affordable for working adults. Achieve offers live, online instruction, 1-on-1 tutoring and mentoring, and flexible course schedules that empower non-traditional college students to test out of college credits and earn higher level professional licenses.

Role Overview
As the Snr Director of Marketing, you will be a key leader reporting to the COO and sitting on the executive team. You may be a rising Director or a newer VP that still loves to get their hands dirty, and would relish an opportunity to build and lead a small but mighty Marketing department while growing your strategic acumen over time. You're passionate about building a high performing, collaborative team and savvy at building the operations needed to accelerate demand and growth. You will be responsible for full funnel DTC programs and media strategies that drive brand awareness, consideration, and preference throughout the buyer's journey.
Of critical importance to this role is the ability to leverage data. You will need to make data-driven decisions that ensure short and long-term goals supporting customer satisfaction, brand loyalty, and financial objectives. You can explain the logic of these decisions clearly, building consensus within the organization and enabling the Marketing team to leverage data in their roles.
In addition, you will be responsible for recruiting and developing talented marketing professionals in addition to frequent collaboration with Sales, Customer Success, and Product to ensure we bring accurate yet engaging messaging and experiences to the market.
Responsibilities
  • Lead the strategy, planning and execution of DTC marketing campaigns to generate interest and leads
  • Manage and invest the marketing budget with an owner's mindset
  • Collaborate with senior leadership, Sales, Marketing, and external partners to develop and deploy comprehensive, multi-channel marketing plans that are designed to educate, attract, and engage potential customers
  • Manage go-to-market planning and execution, including leading pricing, packaging, creative execution and messaging strategies with Sales and eLearning teams.
  • Integrate sales enablement into the marketing process, ensuring cohesion and excellence throughout the buyer's journey.
  • Build, inspire, lead, and champion a high-performing marketing organization that delivers against KPIs.
  • Develop KPIs and set clear expectations in support of employee performance review that balances career and skill development with recognition and accountability.
  • Be curious about AI applications in Marketing and able to guide the adoption of new technologies.
  • Be accountable for improving internal and external communications.
  • Build a culture of safety, integrity, empowerment and stewardship; effectively convey Achieve Test Prep as a brand worthy of customer trust.
  • Experiment early and often to understand the impact of new ideas and scale what works
  • Learn and deploy best practices that ensure we stay at the cutting edge of media strategy, planning, execution
  • Lead the development of new channel marketing strategies and programs.
  • Develop a customer segmentation framework and utilize segmentation to identify growth opportunities.
  • Make strategic and tactical recommendations to improve website design and performance
  • Manage our brand and reputation across all media channelsOversee generation of monthly and quarterly KPI reports summarizing spend and results

Desired Qualifications
  • 7 or more years of marketing experience, with a minimum of 2 years leading high-performing marketing teams
  • Prior success in DTC channels with a deep understanding of digital marketing and ecommerce
  • Highly proficient with mar-tech & marketing automation to scale execution
  • Strong brand-building experience tied back to overall financial targets and company performance
  • Experience in product marketing (messaging, product launches, strategy, etc.)
  • Expert knowledge of metrics that measure marketing effectiveness and able to leverage them to drive decision-making
  • Excellent communicator and cross-functional collaborator
