Position Summary:

AAA United States, Inc. has partnered with a company in Seattle, WA that is a leading global aerospace company and top U.S. exporter, Boeing develops, manufactures and services commercial airplanes, defense products and space systems for customers in more than 150 countries.ย 


The Electrical Test & Evaluation Engineer supports the development, execution, and analysis of test methods for aircraft systems and components.


Essential Functions:

  • Assist in demonstrating the effectiveness and reliability of test methods for aerospace systems and components
  • Develop test plans, procedures, and configurations, including instrumentation and data acquisition setups
  • Design component- and subassembly-level hardware or software and use analytical tools to support design verification
  • Coordinate with engineering and manufacturing teams to support fabrication and assembly of test hardware
  • Perform testing and support evaluation of test performance data to ensure accuracy, quality, and fidelity
  • Review test data and identify off-nominal conditions; escalate issues to senior engineers as needed
  • Prepare test reports, summaries, and technical documentation for internal and customer review
  • Support development of test debrief materials and present findings during technical reviews
  • Contribute to the development of metrology processes, methods, and tools
  • Document engineering designs, solutions, and lessons learned
  • Participate in technical design reviews and cross-functional program activities
  • Support continuous improvement of test procedures and methodologies
  • Assist in the development of cost estimates and technical proposals

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in electrical design, testing, or related engineering work
  • Experience with drafting and design tools such as MS Visio or Zuken
  • Knowledge of instrumentation sensors and data acquisition systems

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
  • Understanding of electromagnetic interference (EMI) principles
  • Experience with wire design, installation, and routing
  • Familiarity with PLC systems and closed-loop control
  • Basic knowledge of hydraulic systems
  • Experience with system engineering principles
  • Ability to analyze and interpret measurement and test data
  • Experience with LabVIEW and National Instruments (NI) hardware
