Job Description:

Join AriensCo as our Chief Test Engineer in Brillion, WI! Step into a pivotal leadership role where you'll drive innovation and excellence in testing and validation for our world-class outdoor power equipment. Your expertise will ensure every product meets the highest standards of quality, safety, and performance.

THE DAY TO DAY...

  • Lead, inspire, and mentor a team of test technicians

  • Oversee project plans for larger capital projects and foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the testing team

  • Provide input to 5-year plans and strategic initiatives

  • Develop and implement the strategic vision for testing and validation processes

  • Create and manage comprehensive testing plans that support New Product Development, Innovation, Warranty Reduction, and Component Verification

  • Drive the development and implementation of innovative testing methodologies and technologies

  • Ensure that testing processes are efficient, effective, and scalable through standard work and documentation

  • Implement best practices and standardize testing procedures across the team.

  • Oversee the setup and execution of tests for components, systems, and full product assemblies

  • Analyze test data and provide actionable insights to the engineering and product development teams

  • Prepare detailed test reports and presentations for senior management and stakeholders

  • Manage the testing team's resources, including personnel, equipment, and budget. Optimize resource allocation to ensure timely and cost-effective test execution

  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of testing processes

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product development, engineering, and manufacturing, to ensure seamless product validation and launch

THE QUALIFICATIONS...

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (B.S.) from a four-year accredited institution, with a focus relevant to the job requirements (e.g., Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering)

  • A Minimum of 10 years of experience in testing and validation, with a significant portion in a leadership role

  • Expertise in developing and implementing advanced testing methodologies, such as ALT, HALT, field testing, Fatigue Life Analysis, Structural, NVH, and Duty Cycle

  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis and engineering software tools (e.g., Solidworks, Minitab, Siemens Testlab, MTS-Test Control, RPC, Somat TCE, Siemens).

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
