Location: Columbus, Indiana, 47201 (100% On-site)

Duration: Long Term Contract


Skills: Automotive Industry

Experience in Automotive Embedded Systems Testing and Battery Management System projects

Experience in handling of OEM calibration tools


Must Have Technical/Functional Skills

Experience in designing, developing, and validating Requirement Based Testing, System Integration Testing, Functional Testing, End to End Validation and Fault Injection Testing.

Experience of Automotive communication using CAN, J1939, OBD and UDS protocols

Experience in Test Automation using CAPL Scripting, NI TestStand, Python and Automation Framework development

Experience in coordination and collaborate with cross-functional teams, like system integration team, and software team.

Expertise in tools like Vector CANoe/CANape, HIL, RV&S, Gitlab and OEM calibration tools

Experience in MIL/SIL testing

AUTOSAR application development would be an added advantage

Require Battery Management System Domain knowledge


Roles & Responsibilities

Analyze System Requirements, Functional Requirements, Safety Requirements, and Customer Specifications

Review BMS architecture, interface specifications, and diagnostic requirements.

Identify testable requirements and define verification strategies.

Create System Test Plans, Test Specifications, Test Procedures, and Test Schedules.

Develop system-level test cases for BMS functionalities

Configure and maintain test benches and HIL environments

Configure communication networks such as CAN, CAN FD, LIN, and Ethernet

Establish requirement traceability between requirements and test cases

Identify, document, and track defects using JIRA, ALM, or RV&S

Collaborate with software, hardware, and system engineers to resolve issues

Conduct Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) testing using dSPACE, NI teststand, or equivalent platforms

Perform fault injection and safety mechanism validation

Deliver as per defined Change Request and Configuration Management process and adhere to ASPICE standards
