Description

Velaz Solar & Roofing is looking for experienced Solar & Roofing Sales Representatives to join our growing team in New Jersey.

This opportunity is ideal for sales professionals with experience in solar sales, roofing sales, in-home sales, home improvement sales, outside sales, or commission-based closing. In this role, you will meet with homeowners, present solar and roofing solutions, overcome objections, and close residential sales.

We are looking for motivated closers who want strong earning potential, a supportive team, and the opportunity to grow in the solar, roofing, and home improvement industry.

What Youโ€™ll Do
  • Meet with homeowners to present solar and roofing solutions
  • Evaluate customer needs, energy usage, roofing concerns, and financing options
  • Build trust with homeowners through clear communication and professional presentations
  • Handle objections, negotiate terms, and close sales
  • Manage leads, appointments, follow-ups, and pipeline activity in a CRM
  • Coordinate with operations after the sale to ensure a smooth customer experience
  • Maintain consistent performance toward weekly and monthly sales goals

Requirements

What Weโ€™re Looking ForRequired Qualifications
  • Minimum 6 months of sales experience required
  • Experience in solar, roofing, in-home sales, home improvement sales, outside sales, or commission-based sales preferred
  • Strong closing, objection-handling, negotiation, and follow-up skills
  • Comfortable working in a performance-driven sales environment
  • Ability to manage a sales pipeline and use CRM tools
  • General computer proficiency
  • Valid driverโ€™s license and reliable transportation
  • English proficiency
  • Authorized to work in the United States
  • Availability to work Tuesdayโ€“Saturday, including Saturdays
Preferred Qualifications
  • Spanish-English bilingual proficiency
  • Previous experience selling solar, roofing, windows, doors, HVAC, remodeling, siding, or other home improvement services
  • Experience with homeowners, pre-set appointments, canvassing, D2D sales, or residential outside sales
