As an LCSW at Terra State Group, your responsibilities will encompass a range of vital mental health services:

• Conduct thorough clinical assessments and formulate individualized treatment plans in alignment with best practices and solution-focused methods.

• Implement effective therapeutic interventions, such as CBT and DBT, tailored to meet diverse patient needs.

• Maintain accurate clinical records and documentation compliant with HIPAA and other regulatory standards, ensuring that all patient information is handled confidentially.

• Engage in multidisciplinary team meetings, collaborating closely with psychiatrists, psychologists, and peer social workers to maintain a holistic approach to patient care.

• Participate in professional development through case consultations and peer reviews to improve clinical outcomes and treatment efficacy.

• Educate patients and their families on mental health topics, treatment options, and available community resources.

• Stay current with mental health advancements and incorporate relevant research findings into practice, thereby enhancing the quality of care delivered.

You will primarily serve clients dealing with complex mental health challenges related to substance use and detoxification processes. This includes providing therapeutic support to individuals striving to overcome addiction and mental health issues, ultimately helping them achieve and sustain long-term recovery. Your expertise will play a crucial role in guiding them through their treatment journey.

The following qualifications are required for applicants to be considered for this role:

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• A valid and active license to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Florida.

• A minimum of three years of experience providing psychotherapy services in a clinical setting.

• Familiarity with various psychotherapy techniques, particularly solution-focused interventions.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to engage effectively with diverse populations.

• Excellent problem-solving abilities and critical thinking skills.
