As a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker, your specific responsibilities will encompass:

• Providing comprehensive clinical assessments for individuals presenting a variety of mental health concerns, followed by creating personalized treatment plans that are both practical and effective.
• Implementing evidence-based therapeutic methods such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), tailored to the unique needs of each client.
• Maintaining thorough and accurate clinical records while adhering to HIPAA regulations and best practices for documentation.
• Facilitating collaboration with fellow healthcare team members to ensure integrated and cohesive treatment strategies for every patient.
• Participating in rigorous case consultations and peer reviews to enhance clinical practice and treatment outcomes.
• Providing continuous education and emotional support to patients and their families regarding mental health issues, treatment options, and available community resources.
• Keeping abreast of new developments in mental health care and integrating findings into your clinical work.

You will primarily work with patients facing diverse mental health challenges, including but not limited to anxiety disorders, depression, grief, and trauma. Your role will be instrumental in creating a supportive space for healing, offering not merely clinical services but also emotional understanding as clients navigate their journeys towards mental wellness.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• A valid Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) license in Washington State.
• A minimum of three (3) years of experience providing clinical psychotherapy services in a relevant setting.
• Demonstrated knowledge of solution-focused therapeutic interventions and treatment methodologies.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, fostering trust and rapport with clients.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and critical thinking skills to assess client needs effectively.
• The capacity to work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team.

While the core requirements focus on the essential qualifications, additional experience in settings dealing with hospice or end-of-life care, or familiarity with the unique challenges related to chronic illness and grief, will enhance your suitability for this role.
