Key Responsibilities

As an LCSW at Terra State Group, you will have a range of responsibilities including:

  • Conducting detailed initial assessments and comprehensive clinical evaluations to understand the personal and social factors affecting clients’ mental health.
  • Developing tailored treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based therapies such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), considering each client's preferences and goals.
  • Administering therapeutic interventions to individuals facing a variety of mental health challenges, ranging from anxiety and depression to complex trauma.
  • Documenting and maintaining accurate clinical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations, ensuring informed and coordinated patient care.
  • Collaborating effectively with interdisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, psychologists, and other therapists, to ensure holistic treatment for patients.
  • Participating in weekly case consultations and peer review meetings aimed at improving the quality of care provided.
  • Educating clients and their families on mental health conditions, available treatment options, and community resources to foster understanding and resilience.
  • Staying informed on the latest research in mental health and integrating new findings into clinical practice to enhance patient outcomes.
Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse population that includes children, adolescents, and adults facing various mental health issues. Our clients come from different backgrounds, requiring a culturally sensitive approach to treatment. Your role will be integral in fostering an environment that supports individuals in navigating their mental health journeys.

Qualifications

To be considered for this position, candidates must possess:

  • A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
  • A valid Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) license in the state of Florida.
  • A minimum of three years of relevant clinical experience with a focus on psychotherapy services.
  • Strong knowledge and experience in implementing solution-focused therapeutic interventions.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively connect with clients and colleagues.
Preferred Experience

While a minimum of three years of experience is mandatory, additional qualifications that would be advantageous include:
