Job description

Whitestown, IN 6am - 6pm Wednesday-Saturday schedule $24 / Hourly, paid weekly Responsibilities: Operating a yard truck (terminal tractor) to move empty and loaded trailers within the yard. Positioning trailers at loading and unloading docks according to schedules. Performing pre-trip and post-trip inspections of yard trucks and trailers. Inspecting trailers for visible damage and reporting maintenance or safety issues. Communicating with warehouse staff, dispatchers, and dock personnel to coordinate trailer movements. Maintaining accurate records of trailer locations, movements, and inspections. Organizing the trailer yard to maximize space and improve efficiency. Ensuring trailers are properly secured before movement. Following all company safety policies and traffic regulations within the yard. Assisting with inventory or equipment tracking when required. Monitoring trailer availability and prioritizing movements based on operational needs. Keeping the work area clean and reporting hazards. #CB
