Opportunity Overview:
Teradyne has an opportunity for an experienced Sales Engineer. Do you possess a unique blend of engineering expertise, semiconductor industry experience, and a passion for advocating for customers while influencing our sales strategy and product roadmap?
This candidate combines strong sales acumen with deep ATE or related industry expertise and a proven ability to lead complex customer engagements. They operate effectively with minimal supervision while coordinating global cross-functional teams to drive successful business outcomes. Recognized by both Teradyne and the customer as a trusted advisor and technical expert, this candidate plays a key role in shaping strategy, influencing critical decisions, and building long-term customer partnerships.
Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Advocate for and Support the Customer, while aligning to the objectives of Teradyne.
  • Manage and grow the business for established and new customers.
  • Create and implement sales strategy using strategic sales tools and processes.
  • Manage all activities related to maintaining existing and gaining new market share and meeting sales quota: identify and qualify opportunities, manage the competitive sales process, align Teradyne product roadmaps, forecast, quote and book orders.
  • Coordinate sales strategies worldwide for the assigned Customers (including integration with Teradyne worldwide test subcontract sales teams).
  • Develop relationships at all levels within the Customers' organizations and within Teradyne.
  • Must be willing to travel 25+%

  • 5 plus years of experience in capital equipment sales or marketing within the Semiconductor or a related industry
  • BSEE or equivalent, MBA a plus

  • Excellent communication and analytical skills

**We are only considering candidates local to position location and are unable to provide relocation for this position.
**This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
Compensation:
The base salary range for this role is $134,000 - $214,500. This range is a good faith estimate, and the amount of base salary will correspond with experience and skill set. This range can also fluctuate depending on demand and location.
Incentive Plan:
This job is eligible for discretionary bonus(es) based on financial performance.
Sales Incentive Plan:
This job is additionally eligible for participation in the organization's sales incentive plan.
