Job Overview:

Pay Range: $55/hr - $60/hr

Requirement/Must Have:

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Data Engineering, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in data architecture, with at least 5 years in Teradata environments.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Teradata SQL, Teradata utilities.
  • Proficient with scripting language Python, PowerShell for automation.
  • Solid understanding of data modeling, ETL/ELT processes, and data warehousing concepts.
  • Experience working with Azure cloud-based environment is a plus.
  • Experience with Data governance, data security, data quality, data lineage, data catalog and compliance practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and architecture of enterprise data warehouse solutions using Teradata.
  • Define data models, integration strategies, and performance optimization techniques.
  • Translate business requirements into technical specifications and architecture blueprints.
  • Ensure solutions align with enterprise architecture standards and best practices.
  • Deep expertise in Teradata architecture, utilities (TPT, BTEQ, FastLoad, MultiLoad), and SQL.
  • Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts, dimensional modeling, and ETL/ELT processes.

  • Exposure of data lake architectures and integration with Teradata.
