Job description

TERADATA  ARCHITECT   - CHICAGO IL  - ONSITE

Description:  We are looking for a Teradata Architect that must work on site in the northern Suburbs of Chicago for 4 days a week. This person will be representing our end client and making sure the project solution matches the requirements.  We have a client that is in need of an experienced Teradata Architect/Technical Lead to assist with a large project that involves moving their on-prem Teradata environment to Teradata cloud. The project is very complex and they are seeking additional headcount to assist the existing Solution Architects in the environment while this project begins and throughout the lifecycle. There are many different vendor partners involved in the project including Teradata with whom will be helping with the actual migrations and ETL. All data is already scoped and evaluated for quality. The systems data is critical - especially the financial data during certain milestones throughout the year. The entire ecosystem will be provided in further documentation once it is scrubbed by the client. They also have a legacy ETL tool called Kalido and moving to Informatica. Knowledge of Informatica ETL is needed for the role and Teradata Warehouses. There is also a component of the role that entails heavy documentation related to their SLC processes and quality checks and balances during the systems data migrations.
