Preferred
At least 4 years of experience in Software development life cycle
At least 4 years of experience in DW/BI related technologies and Informatica ETL tool - MUST
At least 2 years of experience in Teradata - MUST
At least 4 years of experience in Project life cycle activities on DW/BI development and maintenance projects
At least 3 years of experience in Design and Architecture review
At least 3 years of hands on experience in Design, Development & Build activities in Informatica and Oracle Projects
Knowledge of Informatica Architecture, Projection Design, ETL flow, advanced SQLs
Knowledge of data loading techniques using Informatica tool.
Knowledge Best Practices in Informatica, Performance improvements, implementing CDC, UDFs
Strong knowledge of Teradata Architecture: Nodes (AMP &PE), VProcs, BYNETS
Efficient usage of Teradata DDL Statements - Derived Tables, Volatile Tables and Global Temporary Tables
Hands on Knowledge on Teradata Concepts - Primary Index, Partitioned Primary Index, Secondary Index, Join Index and Compression Techniques.
Understand the Concept of Locking Mechanisms in Teradata

Qualifications

Qualifications Basic
Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
At least 4 years of experience with Informatica
At least 2 years of experience with Teradata.
