Kindly keep me posted with your resume at sam@mint-biz.com or call me at 703 665 4483 or Kindly refer me someone who would be a good fit for the opportunity Job Title : Teradata Developer Work Location : Cupertino, CA Term : Full Time Permanent Opportunity Job Title: Relevant Experience (Yrs) : Atleast 5 years experience in Datawarehousing/BI with hands on expertise in Teradata Necessary Skills : Critical thinking and excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities Strong experience in designing and developing large scale and optimized Data Warehouses using Teradata, Oracle and Informatica In-depth hands on experience in database, ETL/ELT design and development and should have excellent data analysis skills In-depth hands on experience in developing reporting and dashboard solutions on DW platform using multiple UI and reporting tools Experience in deploying solutions using version control systems like Subversion or CVS- Metadata Management, Enterprise data security architecture and Data Warehouse best practices- Project management using SDLC Minimum of 5+ years strong NCR Teradata and SQL, UNIX, Data Warehouse Modeling, Teradata Utilities, Aggregates and building efficient views; other SQL and UNIX experience plus Teradata certification may be substituted for years of Teradata experience

Certification in Teradata and Teradata SQL preferred. Use Teradata utilities fastload, multiload, tpump to load data. Write BTEQ scripts to transform data.

Write Fastexport scripts to export data. Write, test and implement Teradata Fastload, Multiload and Bteq scripts, DML and DDL. Construct Korn shell driver routines (write, test and implement UNIX scripts).

Write views based on user and/or reporting requirements. Gather system design requirements, design and write system specifications. SQL proficient.
