Teradata Developer position
New York- Hybrid must
Job Description
- 7-9 years of hands on experience with writing stored procedures In Teradata including use of corresponding batch processing tool eg bteq
- Should be working with Teradata version 16 and Experience In using Teradata Utilities eg TPT
- Must have the experience in managing and handling very large volume of Data in Trading, Banking domain.
- Experience in Query optimization and performance optimization
- 5+ years of hands on experience with Linux shell scripting
- 5+ years of hands on experience with Informatica ETL Programming and working with Informatica version 10
- Good interpersonal and communication skill verbal and written
- Good knowledge and hands on experience of agile practices eg Kanban
- Working knowledge of Jira or other ALM tools to create a productive high quality development environment
- Knowledge and hands on experience of DevOps CICD practices eg GIT, Jenkins, team city
- Use of software engineering best practices including design review code review and Unix testing
Skills Desired-
- Knowledge of financial system preferably back office and an understanding of process related to financial reporting
- Knowledge of MS SQL server 2016
- Coordinate with client for requirement gathering and managing Team
- Self-motivated task oriented problem solver
