8+ years in a Data Warehousing environment. 5+ years Teradata experience. 

Work closely with a geographical dispersed team of Teradata professionals. 

Must have experience with TD 14.10+. Including patch management and updates. 

Working knowledge of TASM. 

Expert understanding of database architecture and internals. 

Expert Level with Teradata database and data administration tools including Viewpoint and Teradata Tools and Utilities (TTU). 

Strong communications skills and a professional ability to work with ecosystem partners. 

Ability to provide reliable technical support and guidance on Teradata hardware and software issues. 

Leadership qualities including strong procedural and architectural documentation skills 

Flexible, adaptable, and able to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. 

Ability to understand and communicate complex technical concepts clearly to peers and management. 

Requires ability to perform on-call duty on a rotational and 7x24 basis 

SQL proficiency and experience including SQL tuning and process tuning. 

Working knowledge of Teradata DBC and PDCR 

SUSE Linux 10 and 11 

Minimum 6 years of Teradata Database architecture and database Administration experience. 

2-4 years background with Big Data.
