As a Tender Engineer, you are responsible for reviewing project specifications, preparing detailed technical and commercial proposals, and coordinating with various departments such as engineering, procurement, and finance. You’ll often analyze client requirements, estimate costs, and ensure all documentation meets both company and client standards. Collaboration with sales teams and attending clarification meetings with clients is also common, making communication skills crucial. Strong attention to detail, effective communication, and teamwork are vital soft skills for preparing accurate bids and collaborating with stakeholders. These skills ensure the creation of competitive, compliant tenders that drive project success and business growth.
