Join a dynamic environment where key infrastructure is being newly established. You will play a pivotal role in shaping and implementing foundational processes, systems, and structures to support future growth.

Position Summary:

We are seeking a Tendering Engineer to support technical sales and bid activities for engine-based power plant projects. This role involves developing tailored technical solutions, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, and supporting contract negotiations. You will be instrumental in defining project scope, estimating costs, and ensuring alignment with customer requirements and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical support to the sales team throughout the bid process—from early development to contract signing and project handover.
  • Lead the definition and development of optimal technical solutions in collaboration with customers, sales, engineering, and project management teams.
  • Negotiate technical requirements, specifications, and scope splits for contracts ranging from equipment supply to full EPC power plants.
  • Develop project-specific sales calculations, including gensets, auxiliaries, balance of plant equipment, logistics, engineering, and commissioning.
  • Conduct design reviews and risk assessments to identify and mitigate project-specific risks and opportunities.
  • Create integrated project schedules covering manufacturing, engineering, logistics, and installation phases.
  • Collaborate with global Proposal Management teams to adapt and implement proposal tools and processes for the North American market.

Qualifications:
  • Degree in Mechanical, Systems, or Electrical Engineering.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in proposals, bid management, technical sales, or project management within the energy sector.
  • Proven experience in complex industrial energy projects in North America.
  • Familiarity with US, Canadian, and European technical codes and standards relevant to power plants.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail; ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills; able to work cross-functionally and internationally.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive, problem-solving attitude.
  • Spanish language skills are a plus.

Why Join Us?
  • Be part of a global leader in sustainable energy solutions.
  • Work in a fast-paced, innovative environment where your ideas and expertise shape the future.
  • Collaborate with international teams and contribute to high-impact infrastructure projects.
  • Enjoy a culture that values curiosity, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
