This is an online synchronous 3-credit 12-session course, with 2 distinct 6-week segments. The first 6-week segment covers relevant principles of managerial Accounting, including topics such as costing systems, cost behavior patterns and cost structures. It demonstrates the use of accounting for the evaluation of product, managerial and divisional performance thus helping students to understand what accounting can do for decision makers and how accounting choices affect decisions. The second 6-week segment covers principles of corporate Finance, including topics such as: financial management and the financial environment; long-term financial planning and corporate growth; introduction to valuation and discounted cash flows; and capital investment analysis and project evaluation.

Requirements:

Bachelor degree in Accounting or Finance, plus MBA or postgraduate qualification degree in Accounting or Finance, plus a
relevant professional designation, preferred. Demonstrated 10+ years of experience, including 5+ years in management in an
industrial/corporate/governmental context preferred. Demonstrated track record in online teaching and/or mentoring revolving towards
management in an industrial/corporate/governmental context preferred.
