Within a collaborative trauma service line, the Trauma Performance Improvement Nurse Coordinator will report to the Trauma Program Manager and partner closely with the Trauma Medical Director, nursing executives, and the Trauma Registry to advance system-wide performance. The Trauma Performance Improvement Nurse Coordinator will lead the PI plan, validate data integrity for TQIP/NTDB, conduct focused audits and peer review preparation, facilitate RCAs and PDSA cycles, develop dashboards, coach front-line teams on evidence-based pathways, and steward readiness for ACS standards and state trauma regulations. Surrounded by friendly nurses and a diverse team of emergency physicians, surgeons, intensivists, anesthesiologists, respiratory therapists, rehabilitation specialists, case managers, and informatics experts, the Trauma Performance Improvement Nurse Coordinator will have strong administrative resources, analytics support, and professional development opportunities as an RN leader in trauma quality.
