Job description

Position Title:  Assistant General Manager / Client Services Manager

Employee Type: Full Time – (45 hours per week)

Job Description:

Reporting to the Shared Services Director, the Assistant General Manager (AGM) will help ensure the smooth and efficient operational procedures within all departments enabling Lakeshore Sport & Fitness to provide the highest level of customer service.  The main focus of the AGM is on the front of the house operations to ensure effective day to day activities.  The AGM must be able to multi-task in a fast paced environment, meet strict deadlines, communicate effectively with management and provide superior customer service to our members and guests.

  • Perform an hourly club walk through/audit to ensure the club presentation is of the utmost quality as it relates to cleanliness and operational functionality
  • To be the front line manager and ensure excellent member service by providing information, resolving problems and answering questions for members & guests
  • Manage, train, schedule and optimize the Birthday Party, PNO & Summer Movie team
  • Administrate and manage the club schedule on a daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly basis
  • Identify and submit work orders on a daily basis
  • Become the point person in club radio calls to help facilitate solutions
  • Create and manage the club MOD schedule
  • Manage the digital signage throughout the club (remove old/expired messages and insert new/upcoming messages)
  • Coordinate and supervise space rentals
  • Manage, create and approve all temporary signs to be consistent with club sign guidelines
  • Complete knowledge of the CSI & Club POS system software to include scheduler, reports, etc.
  • Assist in training and supervising all team members while department heads are not present by helping delegating projects and responsibilities
  • Educate team members and members of the proper company policies and procedures
  • Ensure team members consistently execute the basics in punctuality, dress code compliance, friendliness and cleanliness
  • Acts and makes decisions in the best interest of the club
  • General work schedule will be Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday & Sunday but will change based on the needs of the club (events, programs, classes, etc….) as well as the work times each day.
