About This Role

We are seeking a highly motivated teacher to join our team at the Child Development Center, located within RCOC, a well-respected child care center in Racine. Our center serves both typically developing and special needs children, ages 0 weeks through 14 years. We are dedicated to meeting every child at their developmental level through play, while connecting families to community resources.

As a summer school age program teacher, you will be part of a friendly, vibrant, and dynamic team environment. This is a temporary position with the potential to become a year-round position, ideal for college students with flexible scheduling needs.


What You'll Do

Our ideal candidate will be responsible for:

  • Providing a safe and nurturing environment for all students, ensuring their health and safety needs are met.
  • Maintaining positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues, fostering effective communication and collaboration.

Requirements

We are looking for a passionate person with:

  • CpR/AED but willing to train
  • Availability to work 6am-6:30pm on a flexible schedule.
  • School-Age Assistant Teacher certified (or willing to complete within 6 weeks)
