Job Description:
Principal IT Technologist -Salesforce for Medtronic, Inc. located in Northridge, CA. Act as an SME (Subject Matter Expert) supporting Medtronic's Clinical - Salesforce platform. Develop, document, and configure systems specifications that conform to defined architecture standards, address business requirements, and processes. Meet hardware and software compliance and security standards. Coordinate the design, development, configuration, implementation and support on Medtronic's salesforce.com platform. Coordinate Full System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and utilizes Visualforce Pages, Classes, Controllers, Triggers and Lightning Components. Create various software packages using VersionOne and HPQC tools. Utilize various programing languages to include Apex, Java, HTML, JavaScript, and SQL. Coordinate integrating enterprise applications with salesforce.com using XML, REST and SOAP based webservices. Utilize IAM technologies to include CA SiteMinder and CA Identity Manager. Understand requirement around Single Sign-On (SSO), Federation, and authentication technologies, principles, and capabilities to include SAML, WS-Federation. Coordinate certificates for enterprise IAM systems. Support Salesforce Technical Releases using change set, Ant and Copado. Leverage knowledge as a certified Salesforce Platform Developer 1 and Salesforce Certified Administrator. Salary range: $184,558 - $189,558 per year.
Job Requirements:
Requires a Master's degree in Information Technology, Software Engineer or related engineering or technical field, or a directly related field plus five (5) years of experience in IT technologist or business systems analyst or related occupation.
Must possess at least five (5) years' experience with each of the following:
โ€ข Design, development, configuration, implementation and support on a salesforce.com platform.
โ€ข Full System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and utilizes Visualforce Pages, Classes, Controllers, Triggers and Lightning Components.
โ€ข VersionOne and HPQC tools.
โ€ข Apex, Java, HTML, JavaScript, and SOL.
โ€ข Coordinate integrating enterprise applications with salesforce.com using XML, REST and SOAP based webservices.
โ€ข CA SiteMinder and CA Identity Manager.
โ€ข Single Sign-On (550), Federation, and authentication technologies, principles, and capabilities to include SAML.
โ€ข Support Salesforce Technical Releases using change set, Ant and Copado
