Job description

Jordan Spa Receptionist

We are currently seeking receptionists for our Jordan Spa at Sunday River Resort. The Spe Receptionist will serve as the first point of contact for our guests, representing the face of our spa. The ideal candidate should possess professionalism, organizational skills, and excellent communication skills, with a strong focus on delivering exceptional guest service. Positions are available for full-time seasonal (FTS), part-time (PT), and temporary (Temp) team members.

Responsibilities:

  • Accurately manage spa appointments, including booking, changes, charges, and cancellations.
  • Assist clients in booking appointments and provide recommendations for services and products.
  • Follow standard operating procedures to properly open and close the spa each day.
  • Maintain a clean and professional work environment.
  • Support service providers in ensuring guest accommodation.
  • Possess knowledge about Sunday River and the surrounding area to provide accurate information and directions to guests.
  • Be well-informed about our vendors, spa menu, including seasonal offerings, and proficient in upselling to spa guests.
  • Handle guest questions and concerns professionally and courteously, whether in person, through email, or over the phone.
  • Actively promote current retail or service promotions offered by the spa.
  • Inform guests about resort-wide activities and events.
  • Develop expertise in product offerings to provide knowledgeable recommendations to clients.
  • Available to assist in other hotel departments as directed by management.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
  • Previous experience in guest service or reception (preferred, but not required).
  • Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Proficiency in computer skills, including SpaSoft, Microsoft, and Social Schedules (preferred).
