JOB SUMMARY:

The temporary Receptionist is the onsite point of contact for visitors, mail, and day-to-day office coordination at our facility. This role supports front-desk operations, facility and conference room readiness, mail and shipment handling, office supply inventory, document formatting, and calendar updates, with occasional hands-on computer setup assistance for new employees. The ideal candidate is personable, organized, and comfortable managing a variety of in-person coordination tasks.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Greet and check in visitors; coordinate facility tours for noninterview visitors.
  • Set up and clean up conference rooms for meetings and events.
  • Check and distribute mail (PO Box and office mail); coordinate small parcel shipments via FedEx and UPS.
  • Coordinate with the cleaning company regarding schedules and supply needs.
  • Track office supply inventory and ordering requirements.
  • Arrange catering for meetings and company events.
  • Maintain the front desk operating manual.
  • Assist with new hire onboarding support, including handson computer setup.
  • Provide backup support for onboarding and offboarding activities.
  • Format and prepare documents as needed.
  • Update and maintain calendars.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • QUALIFICATIONS:
  • High school diploma or equivalent with a minimum of 1 year of receptionist, front office or similar experience.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Comfortable working onsite fulltime in a manufacturing office environment.
  • Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Friendly and professional demeanor when interacting with visitors and vendors.
  • Ability to manage multiple inperson tasks and provide light project coordination.
