Receptionist qualifications include:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • 1 year experience in LTC/skilled nursing community preferred
  • Experience working in a Person-Directed Care environment preferred
  • Superb customer service and communication skills
  • Experience operating multiline telephone system
  • Working computer knowledge/proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Strong organization and time management skills
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Greet clients, visitors, and staff in a professional, courteous, and welcoming manner
  • Answer, screen, and route incoming phone calls; respond to inquiries or take accurate messages
  • Schedule, confirm, and manage appointments using the organizationโ€™s scheduling system
  • Assists clients with checking in and out of kiosk system
  • Maintain the reception area to ensure a clean, organized, and professional environment
  • Receive, sort, and distribute mail, deliveries, and correspondence
  • Maintain accurate records, files, and data entry in accordance with organizational policies
  • Support administrative and clerical tasks while ensuring confidentiality and compliance with privacy regulations
