Receptionist qualifications include:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- 1 year experience in LTC/skilled nursing community preferred
- Experience working in a Person-Directed Care environment preferred
- Superb customer service and communication skills
- Experience operating multiline telephone system
- Working computer knowledge/proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Strong organization and time management skills
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Greet clients, visitors, and staff in a professional, courteous, and welcoming manner
- Answer, screen, and route incoming phone calls; respond to inquiries or take accurate messages
- Schedule, confirm, and manage appointments using the organizationโs scheduling system
- Assists clients with checking in and out of kiosk system
- Maintain the reception area to ensure a clean, organized, and professional environment
- Receive, sort, and distribute mail, deliveries, and correspondence
- Maintain accurate records, files, and data entry in accordance with organizational policies
- Support administrative and clerical tasks while ensuring confidentiality and compliance with privacy regulations
