Overview

Beyond New Horizons, LLC (BNH) has an exciting opportunity for a Sr Project Controls Scheduler, supporting TOS II, at Arnold Air Force Base in Tullahoma, TN. The Sr Project Controls Scheduler will be working as a member of an integrated team responsible for [e.g. operating and maintaining or supporting] the United States Air Force Test Operations and Sustainment efforts.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will develop, maintain, status and analyze the Integrated Master Schedule within Oracle P6 for Branch Capital, Maintenance and Operations, and Test support projects for an assigned mission area.

Job Duties:

  • Develops, maintains, statuses and analyzes the Integrated Master Schedule within Oracle Primavera 6 (P6) for Branch Capital, Maintenance and Operations, and Test support projects. This includes managing the resource level as well as planned dates and durations.
  • Conducts in-depth schedule analysis of project schedules and their interdependencies to identify and clearly communicate potential areas of asset and/or resource conflict to BNH and Air Force leadership.
  • Prepares various schedule views for management showing variance to baseline, variance from last forecast, remaining float, critical path supported by analysis.
  • Manages project schedule baseline and change control.
  • Develops and implements requirements for resource loading, reporting, and analyzing standards, programs, and reports. Performs performance monitoring and control functions for specific applications.
  • Conducts schedule integrity checks and resolves any issues.
  • Communicates and coordinates schedule changes to take advantage of opportunities and mitigate conflicts.
  • Maintains integration between P6 and earned value reporting.
  • Coordinates and supports branch management and control account managers in the development of project estimates (may include RBA SOC estimates); monitoring project cost performance, funding availability and EVM related reporting.
  • Supports daily, weekly, and monthly schedule reporting requirements.
  • Develops resource curves and resource planning.
  • Supports, attends, and leads (as needed) meetings where test, outage, and capital schedules are discussed.
  • Develops out-of-year planning as needed.
  • It is a condition of employment to wear PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) in accordance with supervisory direction and company policy.
  • Perform other duties as required.

Basic Qualifications:

  • BS degree (Finance/Accounting/Engineering) plus seven years of progressive and relevant experience or any equivalent combination of education and progressive and relevant experience
  • Scheduling Software experience required (Oracle Primavera, MS Project, Open Plan).
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance and access to the AEDC local area network.
  • Current U. S. Citizenship required.

  • Skilled in oral and written communication, with demonstrated ability to present Project Controls information to management/client.
  • Strong communication skills and confidence in reporting schedule performance to both management and the client.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively across all levels of leadership.
  • Strong knowledge of schedule theory.

  • Assist with establishing criteria for Project Controls activities.
  • Demonstrated ability to plan and organize.
