Job description

Job Title: Architectural Designer – Transit Design-Build ProjectsJob Description

We are seeking Architectural Designers to join our team for a new LIRR Design-Build transit project. We welcome professionals with varying levels of experience, from junior (3-5 years) to intermediate (5+ years), to support architectural production, drafting, and design documentation activities for transit infrastructure projects. The role involves working primarily with MicroStation, although training will be provided for candidates with the potential to learn quickly. This position offers the chance to work collaboratively on a high-profile project with aggressive schedules.

Responsibilities
  • Support architectural production, drafting, and design documentation for transit infrastructure projects.
  • Perform daily production work using MicroStation to support active LIRR transit projects.
  • Create coordinated drawing sets and construction documents.
  • Contribute to transportation, transit, MTA, LIRR, infrastructure, or public-agency projects.
  • Collaborate effectively in a fast-paced project environment with strict mobilization timelines.
  • Work within structured document control environments and coordinate with project managers, discipline leads, and contract managers.
  • Support design-build projects and collaborate across multiple project teams.
Essential Skills
  • Proficiency in MicroStation for daily production work.
  • Strong architectural drafting and production experience.
  • Experience with transportation, transit, MTA, LIRR, infrastructure, or public-agency projects.

Pay and Benefits
