Job description

Texas Fertility Center is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Medical Biller, Authorizations and AR Specialist to join our team in Austin.
Key responsibilities include managing charge entry and claim submission, tracking accounts receivable and claims follow up, researching denials/underpayments, completing benefit verification and procedure authorizations, maintaining precise account documentation and partnering with internal teams to meet payer and compliance requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review patient accounts and ensure accurate charge entry and claim submission
  • Perform accounts receivable follow-up on outstanding insurance claims
  • Investigate and resolve claim denials, underpayments, and billing discrepancies
  • Communicate with insurance companies to verify benefits and resolve billing issues
  • Maintain accurate billing documentation and patient account records
  • Collaborate with clinical and administrative staff to ensure proper billing procedures
  • Ensure compliance with medical billing regulations and payer requirements

Qualifications
  • 2+ years of medical billing or AR follow-up experience preferred
  • Knowledge of medical billing, coding, and insurance claims processes
  • Experience with accounts receivable management and claim denial resolution
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively with insurance providers and internal teams
  • Experience with medical billing software or EHR systems preferred
