Job description

Step into a day on our floor

Join our manufacturing partner in Lehigh Valley, PA and take ownership of precision work on turbomachinery components. On 1st or 2nd shift, you’ll set up and run complex jobs across turning, milling, drilling, and threading operations, aligning every cut to exacting engineering specs and quality standards. You’ll read blueprints, interpret G-code, dial in offsets, verify dimensions with precision instruments, and document results—keeping production moving while holding tight tolerances.

On any given job, you might load a 3–4 axis VMC for a close‑tolerance milling pass, transfer to a multi‑axis lathe for intricate profiles, or program toolpaths in Mastercam to optimize cycle times. When a tool wears, you’ll troubleshoot, adjust feeds/speeds, and keep parts saleable without compromising quality.

What you’ll bring
  • Hands-on experience programming and operating CNC machines
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and G-code
  • Deep understanding of machining practices for turning, milling, drilling, and threading
  • Skill in following drawings/instructions to consistently produce saleable parts
  • Proven ability to hold tight tolerances per drawings, written instructions, or industry standards
  • Proficiency with precision measuring tools (micrometers, dial calipers, dial indicators, etc.), including care and calibration
  • Professional, respectful problem-solver who stays calm and methodical
Shifts, pay, and perks
  • 1st shift & 2nd shift opportunities
  • Pay rates up to $35/hr
Benefits
  • Health insurance package (company pays 70%)
  • Up to 3% 401(k) match plus profit sharing
  • Up to 4 weeks of paid vacation
  • 9 paid holidays
  • Employee discounts with participating vendors
  • Weekly pay
  • Direct hire and Temp to hire opportunities
Your core proficiencies
  • Equipment Troubleshooting
  • CNC Tooling
  • Troubleshooting Skills
  • CNC Programming
  • CNC Machine Repair
  • G-Code
  • Tape Measure Reading
  • M-Code
  • CNC Machine Setup & Changeover
  • Machine Setups for Production Runs
  • Manual Machining Skills
Equipment you’ll run
  • CNC Mill (3–4 axis VMC) (Fanuc, Bridgeport, Mazak, Okuma, Haas)
  • CNC Lathe (2–4 axis) (Mazak, Haas, Okuma, Doosan)
  • CNC Swiss Lathe
  • CAM Software (Mastercam)
  • CNC Mill (5+ axis VMC) (Fanuc, Mazak, Haas, Okuma)
  • CNC Lathe (5+ axis) (Mazak, Okuma, Doosan)

This is an excellent opportunity to join a stable, growing manufacturer that values skilled CNC professionals and rewards precision, ownership, and continuous improvement.
