Job description

SNELLING is currently recruiting for a CNC Programmer a manufacturing company in the Tyler area with a pay rate of $25.00/hr – $36.00/hr. Schedule is Monday–Friday during standard day shift hours.
We are seeking an independent proactive CNC Programmer to create, prove out, and optimize CNC programs using Mastercam and SolidWorks. This role also involves selecting tooling, generating first-article parts, and providing cost estimates for customer quotes.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Create CNC programs from engineering prints using Mastercam and SolidWorks.
  • Generate and prove out first-article part machining to ensure quality and accuracy.
  • Identify and recommend appropriate tooling for each job, utilizing existing inventory or suggesting new tooling.
  • Provide cost estimates to support accurate customer quoting.
  • Collaborate with machinists to troubleshoot and optimize program performance.
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience programming CNC equipment with Mastercam and SolidWorks.
  • Ability to work independently from prints to finished program and first-article approval.
  • Solid knowledge of tooling selection, machining processes, and precision measurement.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record preferred.
  • Must be US person and authorized to work in the US.
