SNELLING, a locally owned & operated staffing and recruiting firm is seeking a results-oriented Paralegal to join a local personal injury law firm. This position is ideal for a detailed-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about supporting clients through the litigation process. Role Summary As a Litigation Legal Assistant/Paralegal, you will play a critical role in supporting attorneys throughout all phases of litigation. You will help keep cases moving forward by managing deadlines, preparing legal documents, coordinating case activities, and maintaining strong communication with clients and case stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
· Draft and file legal documents, including petitions, motions, discovery requests and responses, subpoenas, and trial-related documents.
· Handle state and federal court filings, including e-filing through systems such as eFileTexas.
· Maintain accurate case files, calendars, and litigation deadlines.
· Coordinate depositions, mediations, hearings, and other case-related events.
· Communicate regularly with clients regarding case updates and information requests.
· Order, review, and follow up on medical records, billing records, and supporting documentation.
· Prepare trial notebooks, exhibits, witness lists, and other trial materials.
· Assist attorneys with trial preparation and settlement negotiations.
· Respond professionally to inquiries from clients, courts, medical providers, opposing counsel, and other parties.
Required Knowledge and Skills
· Experience: 3-5 years of legal assistant or paralegal experience. Experience in personal injury law is preferred.
· Education: High school diploma.
· Interpersonal Skills: Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
· Technical Proficiency:
· Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
· Good typing skills (minimum 30 wpm) and data entry (minimum 6,500 kph).
· Communication: Excellent oral and written communication skills with professional appearance and attitude.
· Soft Skills: Highly organized, detail-oriented, analytical, and a cooperative team player.

Preferred Skills
· Experience with case management software particularly Filevine
· Bilingual skills (Spanish/English preferred)
