Job description

SNELLING is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Billing Office Coordinator for a busy healthcare office in Tyler, TX. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys staying organized, supporting daily office operations, and handling administrative tasks with accuracy and professionalism.
This Billing Office Coordinator position will be a temp-to-hire, meaning that while SNELLING would work with you through the consideration and interview process and Snelling would be your employer for a probationary period upon an offer being accepted.
Responsibilities
  • Sort and distribute incoming faxes and mail
  • Upload documents and medical records into patient charts
  • Send and receive medical records, including requests from law offices
  • Prepare and send patient statements
  • Assist with insurance eligibility and verification processes
  • Provide general office and administrative support
  • Order and maintain office supplies
  • Run occasional office errands
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • Previous office, administrative, billing, or medical office experience preferred
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Proficient with computers and office software
  • Professional communication and customer service skills
  • Dependable with a positive, team-oriented attitude
