Job description

Join a high-performing engineering and manufacturing team where advanced machining, precision production, and continuous improvement come together to support demanding aerospace manufacturing programs. This role offers the opportunity to turn engineering designs into efficient production processes while working closely with experienced professionals across manufacturing and testing. The ideal candidate will bring strong CNC programming expertise and a practical approach to solving complex manufacturing challenges.
Develop and optimize manufacturing processes for precision components, translating engineering requirements into practical production methods. Support the development of machining strategies, production documentation, and manufacturing solutions that improve quality, efficiency, and repeatability.
Key Responsibilities
  • Create and modify CNC programs for 3-axis and 5-axis machining operations, CNC lathes, CNC Swiss equipment, and related machining applications.
  • Develop machining methods, tooling approaches, fixtures, routers, and process documentation using Mastercam, Creo, and CAD platforms.
  • Review designs for manufacturability and apply GD&T principles to support accurate, repeatable production.
  • Develop and maintain MBOM and EBOM information while coordinating manufacturing process improvements with engineering and production teams.
  • Support troubleshooting, product testing, qualification testing, test plans, and test reports for manufactured components and assemblies.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical discipline preferred.
  • Experience with gear hobbing, precision machining, and complex component manufacturing.
  • Working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Experience supporting aerospace manufacturing environments and AS9100 or comparable aerospace quality standards.
  • Familiarity with hydraulic systems, servo valves, electrical circuits, and mechanical systems.
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, and manufacturing documentation.
  • Experience evaluating manufacturing processes, equipment capabilities, and production requirements.
  • Background in mechanical troubleshooting and qualification activities is highly desirable.
