Machine Operator 
Automation Personnel Services is hiring an experienced Machine Operator with sewing and Knitting skills in Dalton, Ga. This is a great opportunity to be part of a supportive team while providing quality products for a well-established manufacturer of sporting equipment. 

Pay Rate 
$14.00 per hour

Schedule and Hours 
Monday – Friday | 07:30 AM to 4:00 PM

Machine Operator and Responsibilities
  • Operate industrial sewing machines used in the production of turf and sports netting equipment. 
  • Set up machines according to production specifications, including threading, tensioning, and yarn or fabric loading. 
  • Monitor machine performance to ensure product consistency and adherence to quality standards. 
  • Detect and troubleshoot issues such as thread breaks, yarn misfeeds, or mechanical faults. 
  • Perform regular cleaning, maintenance, and minor repairs on assigned machines. 
  • Inspect finished products to ensure stitching, seams, and patterns meet design and quality requirements. 
  • Maintain accurate production and maintenance records as required. 
  • Follow all safety protocols and company procedures to maintain a safe and organized work environment. 
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding production flow or mechanical issues. 
 
Machine Operator Qualifications and Requirements 
• Machine Operator experience
•  Sewing experience required 
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs safely
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Dependable, hardworking, friendly
