MACHINE OPERATOR - SECOND SHIFT

3PM-11PM

GUILFORD TEXTILES, PINE GROVE

As a member of the Production team, the Operator will be responsible for keeping the machines in constant operation.

Your Qualifications:

  • High school diploma/GED
  • Must be able to pass Background Check and Drug Screening
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and to stand for a prolonged amount of time.
Responsibilities

Your work will include, but not be limited to:

  • Repairing smashes, lifting/dropping of bars, and removal and re-alignment of guides
  • Patrolling front of machine using a stoplight
  • Changing beams on machines
  • Monitoring the fronts and backs of assigned machines to ensure there are no productivity and quality issues
  • Lifting and dropping of yarn to make proper adjustments on machines
  • Using a power industrial truck to move full beams from the warehouse to the staging area
  • Returning empty beams to the warehouse and installing empty beams into beam racks and storing the beam racks
  • Loading/unloading the beams from the knitting machines
