IT Infrastructure Engineer
Jennifer Temps is seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure Engineer to support enterprise infrastructure operations within a large-scale technical environment in New York City. This role is ideal for a highly skilled technology professional with experience in infrastructure engineering, systems administration, performance monitoring, and project coordination.
Your Tasks
  • Support daily infrastructure operations and monitor enterprise systems performance
  • Analyze infrastructure capacity, performance, and system availability
  • Assist with hardware and software upgrades, maintenance, and lifecycle planning
  • Support disaster recovery planning and infrastructure resiliency initiatives
  • Maintain infrastructure documentation, procedures, and technical records
  • Coordinate with vendors, technical teams, and operational staff to resolve issues
  • Assist with implementation of new technologies and infrastructure solutions
  • Monitor system performance and escalate critical issues as needed
  • Support cloud, datacenter, storage, and enterprise infrastructure operations
  • Participate in project planning, implementation, and technical coordination
  • Maintain compliance with organizational technical policies and procedures
Our requirements
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field and relevant infrastructure engineering experience
    OR equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Experience supporting enterprise infrastructure, datacenter, or cloud environments
  • Strong understanding of systems administration and infrastructure operations
  • Experience with Microsoft Office and technical documentation
  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with IBM mainframe systems, z/OS, AIX, Linux, or Unix environments
  • Experience with enterprise storage systems and infrastructure monitoring
  • Experience managing or supporting large-scale IT infrastructure projects
  • Knowledge of disaster recovery and capacity planning
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment

Salary range is between $75,000.00 to $180,000.00 annually, (commensurate with experience).
