Job Responsibilities:

  • The Crown Design Model Shop creates scale and full-size prototype models for our Crown Industrial Design Staff to be used in product development.  The prototype models created can range from functional, low-fidelity to very high-fidelity models of components and full vehicles.
  • The Crown Design Model Shop Co-op will work alongside our Crown Model Makers, assisting them in the creation of all our prototype models, starting with CAD/CAM, CNC Milling, 3D printing, molding, wood-working, and all other forms of fabrication needed.
  • The Crown Design Model Shop Co-op will also have the opportunity and time to create their own "personal project" while at Crown.

Job Qualifications:

  • Student should be enrolled in a 2-or-4 year degree program, preferably majoring in Industrial Design.
  • Student must have their own means of reliable transportation.
