Job description

Location: Juneau, AK 99921
Position Type: Full-Time Regular Role OR Seasonal May-November Compensation: Up to 60K
Industry: Residential & Commercial

Noble Hearts HR Consulting & Staffing is seeking a licensed, experienced Electrician to install, maintain, and repair electrical systems for residential and commercial projects throughout Southeast Alaska. This position may be temporary or permanent, with a minimum six-month commitment required for temporary assignments.

We offer a strong team atmosphere, rewarding project experience, and opportunities to travel throughout Southeast Alaska for a variety of commercial and residential projects.

Core Duties & Responsibilities

Installation

  • Install new electrical systems, wiring, lighting, and equipment according to blueprints and technical diagrams.

Repair & Troubleshooting

  • Diagnose and repair faults and malfunctions in electrical systems using testing devices and hand tools.
  • Identify and resolve electrical problems, including power outages and low-voltage supply issues.

Leadership & Development

  • Provide oversight, leadership, and training for electrical apprentices.
  • Ensure apprentices are working safely, productively, and in compliance with company standards.

Compliance & Safety

  • Ensure all work adheres to local and national electrical codes and safety regulations.

Quality & Cleanliness

  • Ensure all electrical work is completed to the highest standard of quality.
  • Maintain clean, safe, and organized work areas, including job sites and company vehicles.

Project Completion & Preparation

  • Ensure assigned projects are completed according to scope of work and documentation requirements.
  • Plan, prepare, and transport necessary materials for remote project assignments.

Maintenance & Documentation

  • Maintain assigned tools and vehicles in good working order.
  • Notify the office of maintenance or repair issues promptly.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and repairs completed within the project management database immediately following project completion.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of electrical systems, wiring, testing devices, tools, and safety procedures
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints and technical diagrams
  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
  • Good physical stamina and ability to work in varying environments, including lifting, climbing, and confined spaces
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Leadership ability to mentor, manage, and develop apprentices and team members
  • Positive attitude with a team-oriented mindset
  • Diverse experience across residential and commercial electrical systems, installations, troubleshooting, and service work

Licensing Requirement

Must possess a valid electrical license in:
